Tenzen invites you to escape your daily routine for an intimate retreat in our boutique cabins and geothermal infinity tubs. Now accepting reservations.
Decades in the making, Tenzen is the first of its kind in the Pacific Northwest. Our thoughtfully-minimalistic cabins and pure geothermal spring water soaking tubs pair authentic Japanese bathing with the storied Scandinavian spa culture.
Dive into tradition and discover what this ancient practice has to offer the modern wellness journey.
Sourced from 3,000 feet below Wind River, your 2-person geothermal tub is naturally heated from the earth’s core. Pure spring water continuously and sustainably flows through each cabin’s private tub—adjustable to your ideal temperature.
Designed for minimalists seeking solitude and restoration, our 250 square-foot cabins have everything you need and nothing you don’t. The self-guided check-in process means your personal retreat happens on your terms.
Each cabin’s additional 600 square feet of outdoor space includes a covered, open-air infinity tub, Japanese-inspired outdoor shower and wrap-around deck.
Each cabin offers a distinctive viewpoint of the surrounding area. Peek through the native fir, hemlock and oak trees for unbeatable views of the Silver Star Scenic Area, Wind Mountain, and the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.
Home to six private cabins, the 100-acre property has been stewarded by the same family for over 30 years. Take in the expansive river view from the front meadow by day and stargaze each night from the back pasture.
Tenzen is nested on a bluff just outside Stevenson, WA and sits among the hills of rural Home Valley. Guests will find quick access to surrounding activities, attractions, and adventures in Skamania County and beyond.
Unparalleled views combined with the area’s abundant geothermal waters are truly a gift, and this gift is best shared with others.
